Lightweight - Ref 016 / LW016

When this reference was handpainted it was assigned to Arsenal but by the time the switchover was made to lightweights, the Gunners had been moved to reference 232 leaving this variation pretty unloved. As a result it was only produced between 1980 and 1981 and only a handpainted version is around.

Once Arsenal were re-assigned, this reference became home to Reims of France and St Patricks Athletic of Ireland and whilst this kit could also be HVC, VVV and Lija, these are the only 2 we ever see on reference labels.

5/5 - I don't claim to have been collecting forever but in the short while that I have been, I'm yet to see this reference..
