Lightweight - Ref 009 / LW009

Original hand painted thin red stripes were replaced with machine print wicket patterned stripes that remained until the mid 90's when replaced with thicker red and white stripes and a v-neck as opposed to the round neck from the previous versions.

There are plenty of teams that can be associated with this kit. Names seen on labels for this reference include - Sheffield United, Sunderland, Southampton, Lincoln City, Brentford, Exeter City & Estudiantes.

1/5 - Though the handpainted version is more difficult to come by, both machine print variations are very common.
